A fire incident has burnt hundreds of shops at the Aleshinloye Market of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital in the late hours of Tuesday night.
According to an eye witness that pleaded anonymity, the fire started as a result of bad power supply that caused a spark in the electrical installation in one of the shops.
As of the time of filing this report the exact number of shops that got burnt or degree of damage caused is yet to be confirmed.
