A disastrous fire incident occurred in the early hours of today at Fijabi Junction, at the Agbowo/Ojoo axis of Ibadan.
The incident according to residents and eye witnesses is allegedly as a result of a collision between a filled diesel tanker, a trailer carrying motor parts and an empty petrol tanker.
Residents fled for safety as result of the inferno was massive and noticeable or spotted from a reasonable distance.
According to an eye witness, the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the collision lost his life in the process.
Rescue teams, firefighters and security agents responded with swift action reducing the number of casualties
